Restore to factory settings.

Has anyone had the gumption , nerve , desperation , to press the " restore to factory settings " option in any of the models covered by this forum. I suspect others like myself treat it as that button in the aircraft cockpit scene from "Father Ted " . How far back does it go? Does it restore the last R number , in my case 33 back to 21 ? Not a clue , and ,no, I am not going to be the first to try it! Note to self, do not let passengers scroll through the screens, especially malicious , curious, teenagers.

Did this on my MG5 and it broke the infotainment unit!

Did it more than once when I had the Temperature issue.

No problems and reverts to the software you had installed at the time.

You will have re reload your saved radio stations, redo bluetooth connection etc.

Sadly not.

It's just the second step to deal with any software glitches.

1, Soft Reset
2, Factory Reset
3, Battery Disconnect
