Roof bars discoloration

Hi all

I picked up my MG ZS EV this week. 2023 model with 6K on the clock. Has anyone experienced this with their roof bars? Is there a fix?

My roof bars and the trim down the doors looks similar if I don’t dry them with a micro fibre cloth after washing them. I presume in my case it’s because my water is very hard so the mineral deposits stick very well.

P.S. The rain doesn’t fix it either, not that we’ve had any for a while.

More like that shite, they spray on. At those scratch and wash centres.
