Fitted a roof bar to check I've bought the right size - I have, but it is only just long enough!
This is it - £42 per pair in UK here on Amazon Amazon product ASIN B08X13T51L

Be careful with using roof bars on the glass roof. I don't think you're supposed to carry things on the glass roof as wind drag can shatter the glass.

Surely the roof glass will be a warranty issue. The car is homogated for a roof rack. If the use of roof bars puts the glass at risk then MG wouldn't fit the roof rails.

I'm only mentioning this as I had the same issue with both my previous glass-topped Vauxhall Meriva and Renault Megane.

Here's a photo to remind me where the bars have to go. Quite far back. The front one is just behind where the roof would tilt. The back one 64cm behind that. Fitted with a "HandiHoldall" 330 litre bag - bit floppy because it is empty. The rails on the roof of my HS are closer together at the back than further forward, and since the bars are only just long enough they have to be towards the back. But it WORKS!
