Hello all,
I have purchased my HS phev last month and currently noted that the minimum RPM when stationary are at 1400rpm.

The engine runs at this minimum when stationary and I don't know if it is normal due to the hybrid technology but the sound is noticeable and compare to my previous cars woth combustion engine, I think is odd as normally they have 1100rpm and being low noise.

Have you experienced any similar issues?

It's probably charging the battery. Have you noticed if the battery is low when it's doing it? Try it when the battery is full and see if it still does it.

Agreed - 1400 rpm is the ICE warm up rpm from my experience. Also, it won’t switch off until it’s warmed up, even if you have ‘EV’ mode selected.

In fact I can’t recall seeing it idle at less than 1400 (not sure I’ve looked!) as normally, once warmed up, it’ll switch off unless it needs to charge the battery. The electrics do the pulling away from a standstill from what I can make out, one way it gets away with having just two ‘cruising’ gears.

Remember this drive system is both a series and parallel hybrid and it is very different to most other PHEVs and the ICE does its own thing!

So are you saying that it is normal having this ram even after 1h driving?
Because I don't think I ever seen less that 1400 rpm even after long drive and when I go stationery it auto switch off and run on EV .

It ok if this is what meant to be but seems a little strange to have this consumption after a long trip.

No, that's not what I said at all, and I don't think it's what @aerofurb said either, though I don't want to answer for @aerofurb . If you're saying it only ever runs at 1400 rpm when idling in HEV mode then you'd best get it looked at by a mechanic as that doesn't sound good.

I don't think mine has ever gone below 1400rpm either.
