My ZS came with some exotic paper floor mats  so i’ve been on the look out for options. This car is going to be the run around and with kid seats in the back I want something to take all weathers and muddy feet so rubber is my material of choice.

I found a set of super cheap universal mats which particularly appealed due to the full width rear mat (covers the small central hump) and I have to say I’m very pleased with them.

At £14 it was worth a try (for some reason I got them even cheaper at £9.99). A small amount of trimming (they’re designed to be cut to size) required as well as marking out and cutting holes for the mat locks (although I dont think this is even necessary as the carpet grip spikes on the underside are pretty good.

Rubber is very practical and durable, but I find myself preferring the carpet type mats nowadays.

Yes they are a pain to keep clean....I hoover them regularly blot the muck off with the aid of a fine water mist and kitchen towel....Just me.
