Running on Electric only

Hi there
I would like to set my MG HS Hybrid 2024 model to run on electric only but can't find out how to do this. Can anyone help please?

Hybrid means working between engine and battery power, will not just run on battery.

If the Hybrid+ is the newer car, with the 24.7kwh battery and less physical buttons, then the option to run in EV mode is via the screen - driving or energy options from swiping the screen. You can select EV or HEV, but there are conditions that have to apply for EV only to work:

Battery level over 15-20%
Interior heating below 26 degrees
Max defrost off
Driving under 80mph
Gentle acceleration

All that said, the system will switch to petrol to preserve the battery, increase climate control temp etc.
