S5 arrived today as planned - couple of questions.....

The first one could possibly prevent you getting 3 points on your licence and a fine, but on the other hand, the second will just give you a short term headache ! .
Your choice .

It's a no brainer!! It's staying on...for both reasons!!!

Gave the car it's first top up charge yesterday eve overnight. Heart in mouth when the charge lights on the car lit up to acknowledge the presence of the charging cable, but the Ohme App didnt switch to 'Approve Charge' mode!! Took the cable out, and put it back in, and the the Ohme App woke up. Maybe due to first time S5 Charge!
Another thing I've noticed....the response from the MG iSmart app is immediate! It never worked well with the MG4.....I'm wondering if setting the car's wi-fi to my home wi-fi was a mistake, cos I haven't done that this time!!

My wagon came from Richmond MG Southampton.....decent deal too!! And yes, a motorboat mode would have made great sense today. MG definitely missed a trick there!

I have mine on Normal and OPD and it remembers that every day, without touching it.

Normal is the default mode on my mgs5 so it will keep reverting to this unless changed. It's useful to know OPD stays on
