set out from Edinburgh to Glasgow,with my year old mg ,fully charged 162 showing , normally manages this 100 mile trip Without a charge , rarely use heater only occasional blowers for the problematic windscreens
On return was only 42 miles showing with 25 to go but stopped bp charger hart hill to top up ,showed I had 33 percent , spent £7 boosting it to 52 percent . 19 miles later , fortunately just off the dual carriageway, car lost all power ,managed to swing into side , wouldn't start again, management warning light ,RAC came , 3hours later , couldn’t sort , towed home, wait at the mg dealer is 3 weeks.it was -3 throughout the day but was lucky had just left the city bypass and could sit in the car not feeling the love for this car at the moment. thoughts on what went wrong?
