Is there a physical max line visible anywhere, or do I just fill up till the level rises in the neck of the bottle?

Just fill it to the top, same as any other car.

I think it’s just fill it up unless you take the “engine “ bay cover off

Why would there be a max line? It's not oil or brake fluid or coolant...
