SD Card for DVR

Has anyone had a problem getting the DVR to recognise an SD card , tried formating it in the car and on my computer . Tried SanDisk 128g endurance V30 as recommended, a Samsung 64g version as well .
No luck, dealer didn't even know it had a built in DVR/dashcam !.

What do you see when you insert the card? If it lets you format it, it definitely is recognizing it, so what makes you think it doesn't?

Just just inserted it and followed the on screen instructions.

It comes up with insert SD card after formatting in the car or in the computer, also tried the card out of my phone (32gb) which it then it then says is in sufficient use a card over 64gb . The cards used are not cheap copies either.
