Secret hole

For anyone who hasn't found it yet, I just removed the little mat in the cubby hole in front of the gear selector to clean it and found a larger square hole under the small one on the right hand side going through to the lower storage where the USB ports are, obviously for a USB cable to pass through. I was wondering what the little hole was for, now I know.

Dealer pointed this out to us when we picked our car up.
It is very handy and I have purchased a short extension cable so I can plug my phone or MP3 player in with out having to reach down.
