Do I wait for the car to tell me the service is required, or is there a max interval to keep the warranty going?
My MG5 is coming up to two years in December, and I've had it 6 months

Hi, when was the last service done?
It needs to be serviced every 12 months or 15k mileage.

Now I can't find the service book!
Does it fit in the wallet next to the owners manual, cos all I have is a couple of addenda to the owners manual. I bought it used from a dealer, so I presumed everything would be in order, so I have contacted them.

update: they don't have service books, and it was service after 12 months, phew!
Make you wonder if you had a 3rd party service, how would you prove it?

If it was done by an MG dealer then you should have a year of free AA cover.

Yes it was done by an MG dealer, so I'm all ok
