Hello,

This might have been discussed somewhere but i now i have done a real test.
In a toyota chr , if i do 3 two mile trips the same day in normal city driving conditions, the fuel economy is something like :
8.5 then 6.5 then 3.5 l
With MG ZS it's rather 10 then 8.5 then 7 l
There is clearly a difference between the two hybrid systems. I am still in first days of ownership, so i am asking if you figured out a way to optimize fuel economy during periods where the car drives low mileage.

Thank you

My MG 3 uses a lot more fuel at the moment because I have the heater on. The engine is what warms the cabin. I don't know how Toyota do it, but the difference might be there. Turn off the heating and do the same test.

Have you figured out the best mode/regen and way of driving in short trips so that the warm up phase doesn't consume a lot of fuel?
