Smart Peripherals?

There is a smart peripherals option on the ismart app but when selected always says unable to get data... has anyone ever used this feature and if so what is it?

The Entertainment manual page 102 doesn't show this option, although my version has it.

my (latest android version) iSmart has the option, I also get "Unable to get the data" message (MG4 Trophy Mk 1)

That option was taken out of the app in previous versions, but the latest version has returned it. (v1.0.8 had it, v1.0.9 - v1.0.12 didn't).

TBH seems pointless if it doesn't actually do anything

When you select it in my app I get a picture of a car along with a 6 digit string that looks like an Edinburgh postcode (don't want to post the numbers in case they are unique) and the VIN. Clicking on it does nothing but bring up a small window which only contains said numbers...

Yeah I've never been able to get mine to work since I got the car back in August
