Software update

Hi Just purchased an Mg zs ev 2020

A couple of things ! Car seems to have to be locked when charging and also it doesn’t work on open Tesla charging stations… can this be fixed via software update ? I phoned dealer who wasn’t very helpful and said software updates are only done when faults occur though fear of messing up the car ( is this true ) ? And am I missing out on any other good stuff like app control.. etc..

Hi, the ismart app won't work with that model ZS.
If you do a search on the forum you will find loads of stuff about software updates for charging when locked and the Tesla issue.
