My car had its first annual service today. Despite asking for any applicable software updates to be applied, I was told that none were available. Has anybody else had software updates applied to a similar vehicle please?

Not yet, my 1st service is due in about 6 weeks & I too was expecting an update to the latest software.
Disappointing. I’ll be interested to note any other comments on the forum.

My car's first service was two weeks ago and no update was applied. The system is running version R55 and everything has worked fine, so I'm actually pleased they didn't play with it and introduce any foibles.

I bought an oct 25 registered demo phev a few weeks ago and also on R55 and they said there is no update available but everything is working.
It does not have "Pilot custom" icon or V2L icon.
I have assigned the right star button to go to convenience pilot menu then turn off speed warning before each trip.
It also seems to remember the driver fatigue warning option to off so never had a beep or bong from it.

I seem to remember messages here where members have posted about versions R62 and R66 although they could be the European and British versions of the same software.
This is then compounded by the most recent screenshots of 2026 cars showing versions R12 and R16 🤷‍♂️

R66 is the most recent for MY24 and MY25 HS PHEV (those have the infotainment with USB-A ports and Wired Smartphone Mirroring i.e. Carplay/AA).

R16 is the most recent for MY25.5 HS PHEV (these have the infotainment with USB-C ports and Wireless Smarthphone Mirroring i.e. Carplay / AA).

My HS PHEV was purchased towards the end of February 25 and I have been delighted with it over the last 12 months. I had it booked in for its first annual service at the end of February 26 and the garage informed me that there was a recall update for its Infotainment Screen. The firmware update that was applied was R67.
I am also delighted to report that the update also added 2 extra buttons on the screen when you swipe from right to left, showing ISA (Intelligent Speed Assist) which turns off the warnings if you exceed the speed limit by more than 1MPH, I am happy to leave that on.
The best one is DMS (Drivers Monitoring System) and after pressing that and a confirmation button, it turns off all of the bongs and dings etc when it can’t see your eyes properly. I wear glasses and it very regularly says that I need to pay attention to the road. I don’t object to the concept required for NCAP 6, but it is just far too sensitive and as I said, it can’t see your eyes when wearing glasses and sunglasses.
