Afternoon all. New MG4 Trophy user here (3 days in...) and only just worked out how to get Sat Nav up thanks to this forum....

So my next burning question (1st as found the other answer) - is, Is there a way of sorting DAB stations? I added them as i came across them in the list, so not in any proper order. Also, it shows the DAB system in large letters (so mostly London) and the station name in small letters. So trying to quickly spot the one you want is not possible, especially when driving.

And if you do the 'next' on the home screen, you cannot just go to the next available favourite station, you seem to go to the next station on the DAB system, so some completely random station, which seems next to pointless.

On my old Mini, i had a list of 20-odd stations i could fill up, DAB, FM etc, and order them how i wanted, and next and last would move you to the station one above or below. Seem logical.....

Also (off this topic) - but I presume Apple Carplay has to be wired, and not wireless (and has to be the USB A port, as oppose to C). This is correct?

I don't know about has to be the USB A port, but I have used that one for Android Auto.

As for the Dab, yes, I can't find a way of ordering them and i find it frustrating. Also I agree with you wholeheartedly on the way they have laid out the icons. To me,bit would seem much more sensible to swap them around and have the station name in bigger letters.

I've heard that the latest update for the Trophy (R46?) updates the radio favourites so that it shows the station name in largest font. (I read it here somewhere).

The infotainment system is a pain in the you know what full stop.
It loses the whole list of DAB favourites when you go into a poor reception area like an underground car park, then they don't come back without having to do the whole, "select radio, select FM tab then select the DAB tab" kerfuffle just to get the list back, which you can only do when you've left the car park and are driving. Then when you have the list back, as the OP says, impossible to select the station you want while you're driving (unless you have the latest update) due to the small font.
It also decides it's not going to boot up when in an underground car park without stabbing the home button a few times, what's that all about ?
Sometimes the screen is unresponsive, when you touch an icon or button it lights up but does nothing until you hold and press the icon, not safe when you're driving.
What is most annoying is the fact that it doesn't do this every time I enter this particular car park, it goes for weeks working perfectly then one day it just decides to play up.
I've had the non-booting up thing in other places too (not underground).

Would it help using voice commands?
