Spare Key

When I collected my new car, the key used to bring it to dealers could not be found so I was given the second key. That was four months ago, I have been ringing dealer every week in this time and have been told it is on way. Is it coming on a slow boat from China, cannot understand delay, are there any other implications with dealer lost key?

Other than person or persons unknown might have a key to your car, no.

Four months? I’d be going apeshit with the dealer.

Remember that when they do provide a new key they should both be reprogrammed and the missing one revoked.
