Anyone know the Uk situation on spare parts please?

At the end of April our MG ZS EV was hit by an uninsured driver in an empty car park while we were away from the car. Most of the damage was repaired but the garage was unable to get a new headlight unit anywhere in the UK. Several phone calls later I am still being told that the factory in China is in lockdown and they are not able to tell me when the unit will be available.

Anyone with better information?

Hi, is it being repaired by an MG dealer?

Its the garage that we bought it from in July 21 which was an MG dealer at the time. By the time the damaged car went to them in May 22 they no longer had the dealership with MG but still have a number of other brands.

Driver’s side. Are these brand new MG parts?

Yes there a genuine MG dealer as they sell parts they may tell you the proper lead times? If they can't supply the parts
