Speed Assist System

Good Afternoon, watched a video how to use this and set to Intelligent Mode.
Its meant to read speed limit and not allow you to go over?
I set up ours but doesn't Restrict Speed?
Has anyone else used this?

There are posts on the site that may help, search speed limiter, I've given up on the intelligent mode, as it doesn't always read the sign posts and now manually set the speed limit, once again search speed limiter and that can help

I would have thought it could be dangerous to prevent you from accelerating if you needed to.

There is a sort of kickdown that allows you to accelerate if you need to.

Quite right if you press down hard on the acc pedal it'll cancel it.

Well, I did not know we had that functionality!
Just tried it out, took a while before I could figure out why whenever I changed it from Off to Manual it would just go back to Off....
I permanently have the "ACC" stalk pulled forward so it is ready to engage cruise control, so have never seen this speed limiter functionality before. It switches to Off as soon as the stick is pulled forward and then switches back when it's pushed backwards.
You've got to have good eye sight to see the set speed limit, it's tiny!

I use the ACC almost all of the time I'm driving, but in 30mph zones for example it sometimes would feel safer if I wasn't using ACC but could limit my speed to 30mph, now I can - thanks for making me aware of it
