Speed Limiter

I have not worked out if there is a speed limiter on the car.

Cruise control, lane control and radar are working just fine, but there is a place for a speed limiter on occasions.

Dealer said there was............??

Be careful as it can suddenly slow the car when you not expecting it like going around corners if it picks up on signs, personally I’d just use the speed warning indicator without actual intervention.

Thanks both. On my wife's Merc, the speed limiter is set say at 30mph, and you can then control the speed of the car up to that limit. Very useful in speed limited areas, it stops you accidentally going over the limit, but allows "normal" driving. At the mo, the cruise control keeps me at that set speed, and slowing down involves brakes and or switching the control off.

Relying on the car seeing speed restriction signs is not the best way IMHO. Its kinda Cruise Control without choice...

I tried it and didn't like it.....an MG is probably not as sophisticated as a Merc?

I often use the cruise control when around town.

Thanks Mike, I was reluctant to change much in the settings menu, just in case it does a 737 Max on me...:-(

The one thing I dislike about the limiter is that you have to manually enable it in the config every damnd time you start the car.

And if the setting won't stick, check that acc is in the off position and not in standby

Please can u help. I've got the MG ZS it's a hire car and every time I slow below 30km/h or stop once I start moving and get to 30km it beeps every time and I've tried everything but even with the book I can stop it please can u help and explain steps to turn it off step by step please im begging for your help.
