What a mess, cup of coffee slipped form my hand and spilled over the central console. There was no sugar, a small mercy, but the residue has impacted the kers switch and the sport/normal/eco switch. It seems sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. Everything else seems ok.
I’ve tried to find a guide online to remove the central console to see if it just all needs a bit of residue brushed out. But no joy. Anyone had success removing the central console ?

I guess not, anyone do the kind of repairs necessary or can recommend ? Preferably north of England!

You could try to spray some switch cleaner down between the switches?

It shouldn't be too difficult removing the trim for closer inspection.
Here's the FL procedure (PFL is bound to be similar):

Hi. Did you have any luck sorting this out? Just spilled lemonade onto the console and having same problems with the switches. Have tried spraying wd40 in but no joy so far. Thanks

Have a look for Switch/Contact cleaner, WD40 make some and so do many others.

Thanks, tried that but didn't work in afraid. I've managed to fix it this afternoon. Bit of a faff but got there. There's a rubber gasket inside the toggle switch/gear selector housing. I think the lemonade or possibly switch cleaner had affected the rubber and it was fouling the toggle push switches on the PCB. Managed to refit it and the switches are now working, thankfully.
