Steering Dampener Location ? Has it been fitted.

All my bolts have oem markers on them, making me think mines not been done. Might have to pop under-tray off.
 
Looking at what the part was - I was assuming it would go on the steering wheel mount itself
 
That looks like a Bodgeit and Scarper fix ... something to absorb the vibrations rather than address the root cause.
 
The dampener they talk about is in the steering wheel. When mine was done i got an alert saying my airbag went off..

Is in the steering wheel, okay. So not solving the issue, just making it harder to notice from the wheel. And in the same time, probably reducing the level of feedback from the road through the steering further. Not good on a drivers car. Vibrations will probably wear out suspension parts sooner rather than later too.
