10 days into ownership of an MG EP EV here in Thailand. This is same as your MG5 in the UK. Absolutely loving my first BEV.

Our version appears to be somewhere between your 2 trim levels. Pleather seats, full electronics suite but no (useless?) roof bars, only 2 airbags etc etc.

I am quite tall at 193cm, mostly legs... and this is the first car I've ever driven where I don't have the seat all the way back. However, the steering wheel on the MG has only up and down adjustment, not telescopic. The car is damned comfortable as-is, but if the steering wheel was 3-4cm closer to me, it would be an extremely comfortable car.

Does either version in the UK have telescopic adjustment?

Yes the UK MG5 does have telescopic adjustment on the steering. 👍
(The ZS doesn't)

Thanks Kithmo!

So maybe someday, far in the future, it would be possible to find a wrecked MG5 in a UK junkyard and salvage a telescopic steering column from it.

Might be able to do same from China, but their cars are left hand drive of course, likely things are slightly different.
