I am currently in France and I am having difficulty getting my ZS EV charged. I've managed it once but the four other times the car hasn't managed to connect to the charger, which are generally type 2 chargers. The only method I can currently rely on is the Granny charger. Any help appreciated.

You need a 10mm spanner to disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery for 10 minutes. This resets the software and might solve your problem.

I have purchased (several.months back) a 10mm spanner should I ever need to do this. My question though is how exactly do you do this?

Undo the 10mm nut on either battery terminal. + Red is probably easier. Ease the clamp off the post and put a piece of cloth or plastic under it otherwise it will drop back onto the terminal. Wait 10 mins & reverse.
