Driving into Southampton this morning and approaching traffic lights - so no more than 30mph - the car came to a shuddering stop and the information came up on the dash 'motor fault consult handbook' with a battery symbol and exclamation mark. The car would not re-start with the same warning information coming up each time. So left stranded on a major road cringing at the traffic. AA rescued me and towed the vehicle to the MG dealership/Hyundai immediately opposite - couldn't have broken down closer. Now waiting on dealership to look into the problem - earliest is Monday! Hate to think of the situation if I had been travelling at 50/60mph.
Has this happened to anyone - any thoughts on the problem? Car is an 11 month old ZS EV.
