Sunroof not closing properly one side open more than other

Tried to close sunroof whilst stationery and it made a funny noise as it got close to shutting but now won’t budge with driver side more open than passenger side and back of sunroof upright. Tried to open close but not budging. Tried to push it down from the top, pushed pulled it, tried to lift it, not moving. Worried it’s come off rail but as it’s not loose at all not sure. At the moment just want it shut. Is there a manual way to get it close so I can book it in to get it checked properly?

In my old car this happened as the grease gets cold it get stiff so it stops moving the motor. To get mine to shut I heated cabin up as hot as it would go, open sunroof so it’s straight and then close it giving it a helping hand to close.
