tapping sunroof

My sunroof after about 6wks purchase and only 400miles is rattling, while closed, on uneven roads with a tapping noise at times. Not loud but is easily noticable and very irritating, especially on a new car.
On smooth roads it's fine.
I opened it an sprayed the edges with RainX water repellent, to see if the slight lubrication would help but made no difference when driven following day.
Any quick fixes or do I need to get an Authorised dealer involved?

My sunroof knocks on occasion. I was irked when the dealer dismissed my concern, telling me it was the A-pillars rattling not the roof (the car was also in for rattling pillars)

They even told me when I first booked it in that they themselves had replaced several entire sunroofs because of errant knocking.

My roof knocks when it's tilted up... haven't had a chance to troubleshoot it yet, on my days off it's either been under the snow or its been chucking it down.

Unless you are asking for trouble! Then don't mess around with something like a sunroof in winter time. Wait until spring to show It of.

Mine rattles when it's in tilt mode too. Waiting till warmer weather to get it sorted.
