Taxation of pre and post April 2025 cars.

Hi all,

So I'm getting closer to buying a used Cyberster, it will probably be sometime in the first half of this year, but I've lost track of the tax situation following all the recent budget changes.

So can someone confirm for me the annual taxation cost for the pre and post April 25 cars please?

Taxation cost for pre April 2025 cars will be £195. Post April 2025 Cybersters will also attract luxury car tax as they were over £50,000 pounds when new.

Thanks, so am I right in thinking that's another £425 per year, for the first 5 years of the cars life?

If so, as a Yorkshireman, I can't be having that! So it looks like I'll be getting a pre April 2025 car!
