Ouch! That looks like an expensive mistake Surely there must be a warning for the door not being closed, I'm just wondering if the MG ZS ev has a warning for door not closed!!!.

I've just tried to drive the MG ZS ev out of the garage with the door open & it wont release the handbrake, Surely a £90+ Tesla model X should have some kind of safety system for that!!!

I thought this too when I saw it, but it's a rear door. Try opening a rear door on the ZS EV, it'll drive just fine.

Yes you're right, I left the o/s rear door open & it drove off.....Bugger!

So the Mazda has the suicide doors...and the Tesla has the decapitators...

Must be a faulty sensor....it probably detected the door as closed ....

There is no way the driver didn't know the door was open.
