The lower red rear brake light.

Whilst out today I was going down hill following a Mercedes and it did something I've never seen before, the red light at bottom of rear bumper kept repeating a sequence, other lights were doing nothing.
Is this what our MG ZS hybrids do when we are in Regen 3 and coasting down hill?

Interesting as we also have that rear centre bumper light that I'm still baffled by. Also, sometimes when l pull up behind a vehicle a bit close & those vicious auto brakes have not kicked in (I've taught myself to brake differently now - in fear of whiplash ), l see my red or yellow front lights flash a few times, in the body of the car in front. What's that? To tell others I'm at risk of running into the car in front? And l think it does it also when auto braking kicks in because you just can't brake that way in front of someone without giving some type of warning. I guess all these lights flashing would give them the heads up "car in front slamming..."
So I'm also interested in this question.

That will be a fog light Lola, you'll probably not have much use for it where you are.

Back to my original post it was a good clear day and not foggy.

How did you know what the rear fog light was doing from inside the car?

I'm talking about the Mercedes I could see that clearly.

Ah, i see, your on about the Merc. No idea then. Pretty sure MGs don't do that.

Mine does something that upsets some drivers behind me hence second part of my original post.
