Finally, my EV Charger install is concluding after several months of waiting. Today was the missing part of the install - "UNLOOPING" my mains supply. Has anyone else had experience of this and its trials and tribulations?
if only it had been that simpleIs that the "removing the Ivy" phase?

The whole operation took about 4 hours - great couple of guys from SSEN - new overhead cable to our neighbours. On our side, it took 10 mins to remove the looped cable. The entire process started in November last year.My neighbour had the unlooping going as his house and the house next-door had this problem. Was quite an issue getting organised, but the actual job only took a couple of days, mostly related to digging the trenches.
totally agree it must be the easiest option, but it took so long to get the appointmentTo be fair you got it easy, pole fed is a piece of cake compared to ripping up two nicely finished driveways and reinstating them!
