Clearly Citroen think there's a market for a short range electric car. Unfortunately we in the UK have now divorced from the EU homologation rules which means that manufactirers have an additional hurdle beyond moving the steering wheel to the other side of the car. But I notice that SAIC are talking about launching their small electric car in Europe and it might just come under the 500Kg limit for classification as a quadricycle (which makes homologation a lot simpler/cheaper).

(I wonder if they'll actually make it frog-eyed?)

Time for a new Midget? Yes please!
My first car, way back in 1972 was an MG Midget. Kept it for seven years and travelled the country, never regretting it once! 60 mph average speed on the motorway with big lorries dwarfing me as they thundered past seemed to be fast enough! If a replica or similar EV version was produced for town driving, I’m sure that there would be market for it.
Ah, happy memories!
