It’s very simple, reset your accumulated mileage total and rest all estimates back to Zero as your range is calculated on your average and as we all know the miles per KWh can easily change subject to weather and outside temperatures; therefore for the best possible starting point reset all values to factory settings.

But if you normally drive like a hooligan that won't give you a "reliable" estimate of your predicted range surely?

Not that I do drive like one. I suspect I'm very similar to your style of efficient driving in which case it is likely to underestimate your range if it's not taking historical data into account. I accept the current climatic conditions will be more realistic though.

As an aside Mark are you taking part in the March range challenge and if so how are you getting on?

I was going to as I did over 190 miles in one trip the other day, but forgot to reset the trip monitoring before setting off. I will still have time and should be doing another longer run next week, was averaging 3.8 miles per KWh before resetting again this morning.
Yes I will submit a March result.

But if you do "drive like a hooligan" you'll know that the real range is going to be better than your predicted on the next rip. ;)
