My Android phone connects to my elm, but does not connect to my car. I have managed to read a few values like 12v battery with other apps.
cant find the answer on the web, any ideas;

I downloaded a Zipped file and put the content into the extendedpids folder.
what files should the folder contain?

Torque Pro will not communicate with the new ZS model, the cars ECU and Canbus uses a different (newer) protocol the the app does not support and the developer for Torque Pro has abandoned the app ages ago, so no updates any more.

My car is September 2020, many people on this forum have connected using Torque pro.
Last year I connected with Torque pro, but changed phones.
It connected with the car Ok but did not show much as I had not loaded extra pids.
I have tried a other apps without success

Like I said, this affects the new MK2 MGZSEV, which uses a different Canbus protocol not supported by Torque Pro.
