Track&Trace

We'll see the photos appear I suppose. I'm very curious how everything works out and if the delivery went smoothly. Have fun with it already.
The delivery went really smooth, they prepared a champagne bottle and covered the car with a black tissu in a delivery sport surrouded by red bands. The car is incredible, really beautiful in this color, it gives it a more classy look.
You are cherished i this cockpit, the car reminds you that everything is gonna be alright after getting by gently putting you in your diving position.
Enjoy what is comming!

The sun is shining and it's 15 degrees here in Copenhagen - I can't wait anymore :). I just asked my dealer for an update.

Last week I had an update from my MG dealer in Amsterdam that my Cyberster GT is expected on April 4th in the distribution center Waalwijk (NL). It will then take about a week before it can be delivered. I can't wait (and I have been waiting for so long 😔

Haha - I didn’t really kept it silently silent 😂. But now I have a date-ish - maybe this Friday or beginning next week, so I might even beat you to it 💪🏼😂

Ok - I got my delivery day yesterday and it's the....drum roll...the 15th :-). Can't wait! I got a personal video from the dealer yesterday showing my car and that they removed the front and rear MG badges and Cyberster from the trunk :-)
Funny and coincidental that we both become the lucky owners of a brand new Cyberstar on Tuesday.
From what I read, you also have special plans to decorate the car to your own taste.
First pick it up and get used to the car and then pimp it with a box full of accessories.

Yes - that is quite funny :). And yes, I do have plans, but I will try and keep it to other wheels and maybe a wrap in a while :). The only thing I've bought so far is mats and a wireless Apple Carplay dongle.

I would buy this - if it weren't for Brexit and the VAT/Tax added due to that :). Cyberster Garment Carrier

Fire breaks out on CLdN Ro-Ro vessel at Zeebrugge, 100 vehicles destroyed

So I thought: potentially mine.. So I asked Copilot:

The fire aboard the vessel Delphine at the Port of Zeebrugge involved a mix of electric and conventional vehicles. Specifically, the cargo included approximately 60 electric vehicles and 40 conventional cars.

Brands Involved
While the exact brands of all vehicles have not been fully disclosed, it is known that the electric vehicles included models from Tesla and NIO. The conventional cars were primarily from Volkswagen and BMW.

Incident Details
Date: April 16, 2025
Location: Britannia Dock, Zeebrugge, Belgium
Response: The fire was controlled using CO2 flooding and additional firefighting measures

It's going to take a really long time for you mOrph.
Especially that they don't provide any information about the track & trace.
I'm starting to feel a little sorry for you 🥲

Well indeed, the way this is handled is not OK. The dealership guys can't see anything in their system, the customer care department neither. All this because of "a transition between software solutions". It seems that there is no direct contact between China and Europe. They should be able to contact someone over there, that has access to the data, but no.. Now they do claim delivery is foreseen in June, but I think they are just guessing, as they also claim they can't access the system. This is frustrating, never had such an experience with any other manufacturer.

Yesterday I called my dealer again, and the answer was "second half of June". Not 10 minutes later, customer care sends me an e-mail that the car was delivered at dealership. As I live very close, I jumped in my car and went to have a look.

Of course, the car was not there at all. While searching in the computer, a sales guy I've never seen before mentioned: "I know they first delivered the wrong car for you, a Trophy instead of a GT." That was 2 or 3 months ago, I've seen that car.

They kept it secret and kept blaming the computer system.
