Hi folks,
I am considering purchasing IM6 Performance in the UK, however unsure about the range I would get. I on average do between 200 and 250 miles per week to commute to work and potter about my local area with the odd long journey. Will the Performance car be enough for me?
Also, I am finding it incredibly difficult to find a decent price for my car insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

I have the launch version. At the moment 100% charge gives me around 250miles combined. I am doing 40 miles per day and another 20-30 during the weekend so not far off from what you want to do. It is fine but to be fair I charge every other night (wife charges hers in between) so I never let it run low. Will you not be able to charge from home?

As for insurance; yes it can be a right pain. My old insurer, Admiral, did not even gave me a quote. I struggled to fine one till I got a multi offer from Hastings which was really good. Check if they can give you one.

Just done a quick check insurance wise on Uswitch; hastings still is the cheapest option by far, admiral still not covering it (at least for me).

Trouble getting insurance. Should I wait for the car to be registered?

To be fair my quotes before and after getting the registration number were not that different. About £50.
Check on autotrader an IM6 and use it's plates to see if you can get a better quote.
