Trip computer

My MG 3 was in the workshop. Since the trip computer resets every journey and says from start. It used to say accumulated total showing mileage, mpg etc for all journeys. How do I get it back to this display?

Same thing happened to me. I quickly realised it was much more preferable as gives a much better picture of what the car is actually doing (MPG wise) in real time, as opposed to giving an average over accumulated miles. A quick glance also tells me exactly how many miles I have covered going from A to B. So, in answer, I haven't tried to put it back to it's original setting.

press down on the right button/joystick thingy. there are a few options on that screen.

Tried that including holding it down but just mutes the radio

have to press the 'car' button first to put it into the correct mode.

As above the car button is the middle one if you activate it it gives you access to the various functions, the accumulated journey is on the same page as the from the start if you scroll up and down with the joy stick, remember to press the car button again when you have finished to give you access to the radio mute function
