Surely because it is non-functional at this point. It is my understanding that one needs to power the wireless charger with a specific cable running all the way up to the fuse box. What's more, one has to pick an ACC slot (or it will keep draining the car battery when it is parked) and one with enough amps rating also.

BTW if someone tries this and takes apart the piano black console cover assembly, that receives this wireless phone charger and wraps around the PRND knob (like we see in the beginning of the video above), can you please write down here in this thread the part number of that trim?

From the bottom, it should be written in one of these two stickers I think, or molded directly in the plastic. I am not talking of the part number of the wireless Qi charger, but of the whole plastic cover part around.
