Unable to to download phone contacts.

Day 2 with my ZS EV and after several attempts and advice from the Facebook group, I have been unable to download contacts and call history from my Android Smartphone to the car.
I can do it with many other cars using the same phone but not the MG, does anyone else have this issue or have a solution?
The phone is paired with recognised with and paired with Bluetooth.

Problem now resolved, Contact Sharing needed to be enabled on the phone.

I still haven’t managed to download mine to the car from my IPhone, not even my 16 & 17 year old kids can figure it out... would live to find a solution

Check the setting and permissions on you the phone rather than the car. I used android auto and had issues to start, but uninstalled the app and reinstalled and then started the process again and it worked fine.
You can restart the main car unit, reboot it, by pushing and holding the centre button push and hold or refer to manual it maybe worth trying a reboot..
