Does anyone know if the facelift comes with a V2L cable? Or if not, has anyone tried this one:

The V2L capability is part of my backup strategy to keep the heating on if we end up with power cuts (to run the boiler control and thermostats, plus the fridge/freezer), so I'm keen to have something that works ;-)

I don't know of any car that comes with a V2L cable as not everyone would need them.
Have you asked your dealer if it comes with a type2 or 'granny'?

Hi,

Personally I would pay the extra and get the blue one from EV cables. It will be properly made. The adapter to me doesn't seem so well made and if it's wet weather how could you keep it dry? With the cable you could put it under the bonnet leaving it ajar or under the car if you bought a longer one.

I did buy this on eBay but it didn't work so got a refund.

That's not to say they are all that way, maybe I just got a faulty one.

Either way I will purchase the EV cables one in the new year.

For clarity I have a facelift ZS not a facelift 5.

I made one from an old type 2 to type 2 charging cable after seeing a few videos on youtube.
Seems to work fine and I've been running a fan heater in my garage off it for a good few hours.
