I am at a campsite trying to use the V2L cable. I tried it at home when a bought the car a few months ago and it was working fine.
But now, when I use the button 'start discharging" the waiting timer twiddles for a few seconds and then I get a message 'discharge finished'. The car is in ready mode. There's no power available at the end of the V2L cable.
Having erected my tent in an area with no electric hookups I'm a bit stuck!

Check your discharge limit, if it’s higher than your current SoC, V2L won’t start…

It's on the Energy Management interface in the Infotainment Unit.

Thanks, SoC is 30%, how do I find / change the limit? I can't find it in the manual
Found it now. It was set at 50% for some reason. I only wanted to charge my phone, maybe 50 Wh or less than 0.1% of the car capacity!

50% is factory default setting iirc. Why not charge the phone via USB?
Or even the 12V socket, doing a DC > AC > DC conversion to charge a phone is rather wasteful the inverter losses are probably several orders of magnitude above what the phone would use.

AFAIK the USB socket only works when the car is switched on. I wanted to charge the phone while I was sleeping in a tent overnight.
also (more importantly!) I'll be wanting to use the V2L more in tey future for other things
