Vandal proofing

Our car has been the subject of continuing attack by a gang of vandals out to make a complete mess of the beautiful tri coat paint job. We reckon they’re jealous of the colour seeing as how they continually appear in the dowdy brown “uniforms” to perpetrate the heinous attempts at car disfigurement. We’re doubly sad about it because we actually feed the rascals and this is the thanks we get.
However, no more, we’ve had enough- we’ve fitted floppy ear muffs to the MG when it’s sitting on the driveway :-

This has stopped the sparrows and their various cousins perching on the mirror to admire their cheeky wee faces whilst pooping all down the door ??

I had exactly the same problem with yellow wagtails. Poop everywhere! Forced me to clean out the garage and put the car in......the little rascals!
