Agreed, more incentive for me to max out my solar(fit) usage.

I wish I'd waited four months before fixing mine! But I was afraid the offer would disappear.

Of course, if I'd known the offer was going to last that long, I'd have waited. But I didn't, and at least I've got the tariff till October rather than not having it at all.

Just got my email from Octopus (Standard Go) and they are quoting for my postcode:

Day	29.732 p/kWh
Night	8.625 p/kWh
Standing Charge	59.05p/day

There are definitely cheaper alternatives and for the first time I'm looking at standard fixed tariffs. Outfox Energy are coming in at 19.775p/kWh and with my low annual mileage, this would amount to less than the cost of an EV tailored one!
