Vehicle Control system fault after failed charge.

I plugged in the car today it wouldn't take the charge at services. I tried locking and leaving for 15 min didn't do anything I unplugged the battery and left for 5 min didn't help. Had to call the AA guy was very good plugged his computer and cleared the bunch of error logs and is now charging

I will be taking it to MG services this week. I know it was an issue back in a day but it's first time it happened in 3 years of ownership. Has anyone's dealer fixed it permanently so I can avoid the hassle of back and forth and tell them what to do exactly next week when I drop the car with them?

If it has never been updated then its most certainly the software in dire need of an update.

I have not read about those errors for anyone that has had the software updated, i think MG solved the problem permanently with a software bugfix, about 2-3 years ago.

Be prepared,you might be asked to pay for the update if you have not been to an MG certified service garage for 3 years.
