But there is also a switch that turns the satnav on and off as well as a volume control.
Go into satnav settings and it is there.
I only know for Mk1 however.

I have the voice turned off in my Mk 2.

Only if the voice is switched on via settings!

If it's like my zs hybrid plus i had, when in sat nav open settings and the volume can be adjusted amongst other things like avoid motorways/toll roads etc.
