Hello, is anyone else having weak braking force?
I've had my car 14months and done 17,000miles and i have begun noticing a lack of braking effort when trying to rapidly stop at speed.
Fortunately for me I noticed it before really needing an emergency stop, I took it to an empty road got it up to 60 and fully slammed on the brakes. Instead of locking up and engaging the ABS my cars brakes softly slowed the car down. I'd say double max regen.
Where as a few months ago a dab of the brakes would shock you.

Could the lack of use (only 5% pad wear at service) have glazed the pads or has moisture soaked in?

Any recommendations?

Get the car on a brake testing machine at your local MOT station.
That will give you clarity on braking efficiency for each individual wheel.
If that tells you something is wrong, get the wheels off for a closer inspection of the relevant disc(s) and pad(s).
Infrequent or light use doesn't cause glazing.

Agreed, as I have glazed pads in my last car (before I switched them to sports discs and pads).
It just feels like they've glazed I know it's not overheated the pads at all.

Probably due to the lack of use of the foot brakes, due to the strong power of the Regen.
Rust on the brake disc surface and seized brake pads in their callipers is the biggest problem with a lot of EV’s.
Friction pad material wear is almost zero.
Sticking / noisy squealing pads is common issue though.
