Weird noise

My MG5 has started making a strange pulsating droning noise from about 35 mph upwards but seems to disappear at around 70 mph. The MG garage suggested I needed a new set of tires but that has made no difference. I’ve had the wheels tracked the noise still there? Has anybody else experience this please?

I’m running at 2.5 bar

That's a liitle high . It should be 2,2 bar . Not sure if it accounts for excessive tyre noise though

As a matter of interest, did the garage take your car out for a test drive and confirm the noise?

Yes, I drove out with the technician and he heard the noise. His diagnosis was the car needed new tyres but that has made no difference.

No, I haven’t found a fix yet. I keep meaning to take it back to the MG dealership and see what they say but haven’t got round to it yet. It’s really annoying and it’s interesting to hear that you have the same problem. Is it an MG issue I wonder? My noise also seems to change tone at times, especially when I’m slowing down it appears to go up a tone.

I have the ZS EV
If the tyre pressures are even slightly low ( on one or multiple tyres).. they " thrum"
I run at the recomended 41psi
