We like Aldi who don't change things around every five minutes.

Most supermarkets do, so that you have to go hunting round for your usual stuff, thereby passing other things that you don't usually see.

It's a way to sell more.

Baby pics being in black and white is always a dead give-away.

I've got a cracker of a pic taken literally seconds after I learned to ride a 2-wheeler bike. My dad had hired a wee fairy-cycle and taken me down to the promenade by the Cross House in Millport to teach me. I don't remember how old I was but I was pre-school. He was holding on to the bike and I thought I had it and shouted, let go dad! He replied that he already had. I pedalled on for a couple of yards then saw my cousin, who was a seaside photographer, come round the corner of the Cross House with his camera round his neck. I yelled "Walter, photograph me! Photograph me!" So I got a professional portrait of my very first bike ride.

Tescos is the worst for swapping round
