Oh no do I have enough range in my electric car ? Ah yes I remember now, when I arrived home yesterday it had 70% of the battery capacity left. But nothing daunted, I diligently plugged in. Later on I noticed Ohme’s reminder that I’d plugged in and did I want to authorise a charge. So I hit OK and set it for 10% by 08:00 today. I topped up the power bank on the overnight 7p rate too so as I make my cheap porridge I see I have a car ready to convey me and also that I set up the washing machine and forgot to hit the go button . Och two out of three ain’t bad.

I hate that.

I don't know why, but I'm tasked with remembering to charge the car.

When I am renowned in the family for having the worst memory ever.

So, Mrs S will plug the car in and say "Charge the car", and in the next breath, "What's for dinner?", so it gets forgotten.

Then in the morning, she'll say, "You did remember to charge the car, didn't you?"

We have an agreement now where she stands over me while I make sure the charging session is started in the Ohme app....

My lunch was lovely today - steak sandwich but it was half gone before I remembered to record that it ever existed.

And of course my faithful Guard dog was ever present.

Better organised last night. I’ve now got a full car , power bank, HW cylinder AND a washer full of clean laundry and all for half price according to Octopus. So the Berlingo tariff today is one penny per mile with a bonus basket of clean shreddies
